2025 Community Projects Selected

LGSC is known for delivering impactful community projects and this year looks to be no different with three exciting projects selected at the recent Community Impact: Pitch Day program day in Koroit. 

The 2025 Community Leadership Program projects are as follows:  

·        Belonging South West Project Team: Dominic, Bob, Libby, James and Daisy aim to foster inclusion in South West Victoria by connecting culturally and linguistically diverse communities with local leaders and service providers.

·        Community Hub Coleraine Project Team: Sam, Janelle, Vick and Morag will explore the need and desire for a Community Hub in Coleraine.

·        Wata Waetnanda Strategic Plan Project Team: Alex, Brad, Jan and Danny aim to create a three-year strategic plan for Wata Waetnanda outlining key goals and actions.

The community projects provide the participants a hands-on opportunity to develop project management skills while collaborating with local leaders and mentors to create change in our local communities.

The participants have commenced the planning phase of the projects and will learn more about project management at the upcoming program day The ‘how to’ of Project Management.
