Step-Out Immersive - reflecting, planning and committing to what next

Step-Out Immersive was a deep dive into the past 10-months and what each participant has gained through the Community Leadership Program. Here is a summary of the leadership skills they learnt or enhanced over the 2 days:

• Boosted my confidence in my own ability

• Leaning in, listen more

• Overall confidence to stand in the space and speak my truth

• Being honest and standing by your values

• CONFIDENCE in both self and skills.

• Vulnerability, humour, confidence, commitment

• Support crew/group identification, values, superpowers

• Embrace simple things in life as they just might become the big things

• Reflection and personal growth

• Integrity, empathy, boundaries, reliability

• Succinct communications, listen to the questions carefully.

A very big, heartfelt thank-you to Sam, Morag, Janelle, Danny, Alex, Brad, Jan, James, Dom, Daisy, Bob and Libby for saying yes to the 10-month Community Leadership Program and for giving so much of themselves. We will come together again on 4 December for their graduation and a celebration of 2025! Our communities are in very safe hands as they commit to future plans in and with community. We look forward to championing them as LGSC alumni.
